Souls Longing
The subjects in these drawings are mourning. Grief has eroded the ego, leaving the soul exposed. There is a sense of compassionate acceptance, yet a wistful loneliness and a longing to transcend separateness. They are caught in a moment of divine homesickness, the soul’s longing to return to its luminous source.
