About
Fern Bass
Fern
Bass is
the founder and head instructor at Bass Arts Studio. Fern
is a working artist who has widely shown her work in solo
and group
exhibitions in New Jersey and New York City. She has taught
at Nandi School Of Art, the JCC in West Orange, and the Jewish
Cultural
Suburban School in West Orange. Before devoting herself to
art and teaching full time, she worked as a graphic designer
and
art director at The New York Times, Conde Nast and Fairchild
Publications. She has a BFA from Pratt Institute, and attended
the Art Students League and the Brooklyn Museum Art School. Bass
works in a variety of media, including oil on canvas, oil
stick, cold wax medium, powdered pigment, ink and compressed
charcoal
on frosted mylar and paper. Her work can be viewed

Long
before studying at Parsons The New School for Design, Fabiola
Arias was no stranger to the runways. In May 2004,
Arias made her unofficial debut in Miami Fashion Week of the Americas.
The following year, she presented Hymadryads, another collection
for Miami fashion week, inspired by creatures of the woodlands,
tango, military armor, and nature. Fabiola is also a painter and
sculptor. She has presented in many galleries including Washington
D.C.’s Smithsonian Institute, Art Basel Miami, and the Miami
Art Museum. Fabiola is currently working on her next ready-to-wear

Janice
Belove received
her BFA from The Maryland Institute, College of Art, and her
MFA from Queens College, CUNY. She is a painter and art educator.
She has had fellowships/residencies at Virginia Center for
the Creative Arts and the Millay Art Colony. In addition to
Bass Art Studio, she presently teaches at the Montclair Art
Museum. |

Teresa
Defabrizio is
a professional artist, illustrator, and teacher with a unique
style of comic and Manga illustration. Her work has appeared
in "ANIMERICA", animation and comic conventions like
Katsuecon, AnimeNEXT, and NYC's Big Apple AnimeFest. She holds
a MFA from Montclair State. |

Jennifer
Brommer is a fine art photographer whose work
has been shown at Institutions such as The Brooklyn Museum, Anthology
Film Archives and The San Francisco Foundation. She's worked for
clients such as The New York Times, Newsweek, Forbes and U.S.News
among others. She recently received her MFA degree from The San Francisco
