Young Fashion Designers
Saturdays, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM (Ages 8-11)
This class will be a continuation of the winter session. Students will focus
on pattern making, machine and hand sewing as students create an outfit of
their own design. The class will conclude with a fashion show and presentation
to a panel of fashion industry professionals.

Fashion Sewing
Saturdays, 12:30 -2:30 PM (Ages 11-Adult)
This class is for all levels. Beginners will learn sewing machine
and hand sewing, design and create a flat pattern and a one piece
outfit. Advanced students will learn more advanced pattern making,
draping and sewing techniques. Students will be encouraged to work
both two dimensionally with patterns as well as have the opportunity
to drape their creations on a dress form. The class will conclude
with a fashion show and presentation to a panel of fashion industry
professionals.

Fashion
Design & Illustration
Saturdays, 3:00 -5:00 PM (Ages 11-17)
Students will learn to sketch the elongated fashion figure using
a live model and photographs. Then they will use that figure as
a template to express their designs. Next, drawing their inspiration
from art, nature, culture and history, they will create a journal
of ideas, an inspiration board, fabric story and clothing collection.
The class will conclude with a presentation to a panel of fashion
industry professionals.

Art Classes
will be held at 202 Park Street in the backyard studio.
Studio Policies:
• Registration fee of $15 will be charged for all new students.
• Students may join ongoing classes at any time during a semester. Fees
will be
pro-rated.
• Full tuition will be refunded if notice of withdrawal is provided at
least 2 weeks (14 days) prior to first class. All notification of withdrawal
made between
two weeks and the first day of class will be subjected to a $25 administration
fee. NO TUITION WILL BE REFUNDED for any reason after the first session of a
class.
• Students who withdraw from a class after the first week of the semester,
but before the third week of the semester, will be issued a letter of credit.
This
credit will be based on the number of classes remaining in the semester, minus
a $25 administrative fee and will be valid for 1 year from date issued. After
second week of classes, no letters of credit will be issued.
• Make-up classes are available for students who are unable to attend a
class due
to illness or emergency during the same semester only.
• Bass Arts Studio reserves the right to cancel a class if less than 4
students
are enrolled.
• All artwork must be picked up at the end of the semester. Bass Arts Studio
is
not responsible for artwork left in the studio after the semester is over.
• Please wear clothing that can get dirty. Bass Arts Studio is not responsible
for soiled clothing.
