Dances

These pieces are the result of a collaboration between myself and Simone Coonrad, dancer, musician and founder of Swinging With Simone. Over the course of two months, Simone would show up to my studio in brilliantly colorful costumes and music to match. Each session, she would dance a different dance from her extensive repertoire and I would try to capture its mood, motion and energetic musicality.
