In the fall of 2005, I was granted an artist in residency at Bloomfield College to work as a collaborator in a mulit media project addressing the subject of women’s identity and the search for the authentic voice. The project was conceived by Tony award nominee Marlies Yearby and entitled In Performance.

These works came out of a series of visual labs with Marlies and fellow collaborator, Cellist Nioka Workman.

The project culminated in a workshop performance of the work in development in which I performed as Woman with Line and painted on stage.
